And I get it. For years, that was me – fighting for willpower, clinging to food rules, only eating arbitrarily limited portion sizes. It felt impossible to have just one cookie, or just a few fries. I didn’t understand my friends who seemed to effortlessly leave food behind on their plate when they were satisfied or pass up on dessert when they “weren’t in the mood.” Their behavior was unfathomable to me.

I thought I was the problem. So, I worked tirelessly to build more "willpower." This resulted in even more restrictions. I assumed sheer force of will was required to get that body (and life) of your dreams.

The NOISE poisoned my mind — the magazines health tips that left me feeling defeated, the internal dialogue that told me I needed to exercise more to get the flat stomach (or rather, that a flat stomach was even required/possible on my body), the endless chatter about diets and solutions and substitutions that would fix me… as if I was broken.

On Instagram we see Dr. McKnowitAll post about the high fat keto diet, only to scroll and learn that there’s a new study that states the best diet is one that is vegan oil-free/fat- free.

Celeste, the wellness blogger with 200k followers, says she loves intermittent fasting, while Tricia, the yogi, swears that small meals throughout the day is her secret to her flat stomach and limitless energy. Michaela, your coworker, is talking about her anti-inflammatory protocol again, and your college roommate is now on an all fiber cracker diet and cancels weekly Wednesday wine night (… wtf). 🤦

Hi, I’m Lisa Hayim!

I’m a lot of things: I’m a daughter, a sister, a friend, a wife, a playful chef, and a yogi, and my driving value is compassion all. the. time.

I’m also a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University.

Years ago, I was my diet. What I ate (or didn’t eat) was my identity. I was constantly using force and effort to get me to a place I never found.  

Since giving up that method- I've found inner peace.  I learned to trust and respect my body, and because its the best feeling in the world,  it's my mission to bring this feeling to life for you.  To teach you real tools to listen to your body. To be your guide as you ditch diets and food rules and step into your true power. 

My passion is fueled from the results my clients get. No, not results like like rock-hard abs or a firmer butt. Results like this:

Traditional Mindful Eating is dated—we don’t need that overt focus on food all the time. Sometimes we want to just live our damn lives!

Or so you would think... but I don't actually think that's the truth..
